P100500 — Accelerator pedal sensor plausibility
Quick answer
P100500 means the two accelerator pedal sensors disagree with each other by more than the controller allows. The pedal assembly is the usual part, or its connector and wiring.
What to check first
- Check the 12 V battery state of charge and terminals; a weak 12 V supply causes many electronic faults.
- Read all stored fault codes with a scan tool and deal with related codes first.
Can I still drive?
Have it inspected before further driving. If in doubt, park the car and ask a technician — a fault that limits power or shuts the high-voltage system down will not clear by itself.
Parts that fix P100500
Confirm the reference against your VIN before ordering — the same fault can sit in different hardware depending on the build.
